Welcome to Chalet Shangri-La

This large and exclusive chalet is located near Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland a five minute drive from the village center and the main ski lifts. It overlooks the valley of Monthey and offers a panoramic view of the Swiss Alps.

The chalet can accomodate 19 guests in 8 bedrooms and a suite. It has a main, somptuous lounge with a dining area, a sitting room for smokers, a lounge with an adjacent library, two fully equipped kitchens, one of which has a large dining area.

All these rooms and lounges are spread over three spacious floors, preserving the privacy and comfort of the guests at all times. The decoration of the main rooms is particularly warm, furnished with genuine Austrian and Swiss wardrobes, wooden panelling and collections of traditional artwork.

The interior swimming pool and adjacent Turkish bath are decorated with particular refinement. Through the large window panels bordering the pool area one can admire the breathtaking view of the Alps.

An unusual feature for a moutain chalet, a large billard room is also available. The room can be converted in a matter of minutes into a fully equipped cinema, with seats and sofas, and a large retractable screen all controlled by a fully automated system. Entirely built out of wood, the billard-cinema room is of stunning elegance, with a sober touch of British colonial stlye.

Finally, an ample garage space is provided for up to ten vehicules, of which six are under a covering and the rest on an electrically heated parking area outside.
